holy shit. close to one month of not updating. have no time, no momentum for blogging, so shall rapid fire through this.

since the previous post, i've pop-ed from bmt. the 24km route march was nice, but it was mentally tiring. walked throughout the night yo.

it was krabi after that with jm, joy, boss, jl, jm's friend and my platoon mate hong jun and another platoon mate of mine, lester.

trip was epic. drove around, night markets, rock climbing, snorkeling, canoeing, hot spring and many more. photos to be up when i get them from jm and when i have the freaking time. =)

was posted to scs. hotel company yo. it was fun. lots of freedom. was appointed leader platoon sergeant before being raised to be leader sergeant major. stepped down from the appointments already yo. but the 6 days were stressed as hell. ppl just dont listen sometimes.

had games day and family engagement day at scs ytd. pretty nice. my coy's bball team was eliminated in the first round. i wasn't in that team yo. the team ic anyhow picked the members. so yah lor, i'm not saying i should be on that team but i believe i can do much more than the members who were on that team. seriously, when rp and np sch team members dont make that team, u have to admit that the team ic is fucked up in his selection of members. the team he picked cannot even score one point against my team when we were playing and i am not playing my natural pos. was playing center instead of shooting guard.

whats worse. despite my size and strength disadvantage, i managed to give the 2 centers of the main team a hard time. =)

ok lah. its all over, no use brooding over it. i believe that my time to leave it all out there will come soon. anyway, got gold for ippt, so happy that i'm $200 richer.

happy new year everyone. i welcomed this new year with jj and jl. was just slacking around with them at downtown the whole time. monopoly deal, dai di, food, music and jiao weis, that's pretty much all we did.

anyway, its the time of the year that i hate the most. lol. its like hitting the restart button. needa come up with new year resolution or something like that. ok. this year, my resolution shall stay the same, 1024 x 768. hahahahaha. thats for my monitor.

anyway, dont have performance review to conduct cause i didn't make any resolutions last year. hahahaha.

did brought over something hateful from 2010. the legendary tekong cough. been at it for 1 month plus. power not? kinda recovered somewhere in the middle of my bmt phase but the major lack of good food during field camp/sit test period made me went haywire after i booked out, thus my current condition. i seriously think that its just a matter of time before i cough out blood and scare the shit outta my mum. =))

i'll spend the bulk of my time this year serving ns, so really nth much to look forward to. i only hope i can become a commander, from my current outlook, most likely a sergeant, and grow and learn more from the process of becoming a commander.

seriously hope that i'll be posted to bmt after i finish my commander course so that i can train recruits. just like the good old ncc days, grooming the next generation. the best possible outcome will be doing it with my current section mates then at least ns life will be fun. hahaha.

as for team18holdings, nth much to say bout this bunch of ppl. they've been there for a long long time in my life, making life fun and its struggles less painful and i'm pretty sure that they wont go anywhere else in the visible future. still my favourite group of ppl. i only hope for the best for them. hope 2011 will be another great year ahead for us though we're pretty much slowing down in havoc-ing but it is good also, shows the growth in us. lol.

basketball wise. dont think i'll be touching it often. haven even touched it once since i enlisted. was planning to train awhile ytd but it rained. too bad. shall see how things go. i think i've come to terms with putting a full stop to my basketball dream. but as i've said, lets see how things go.

i hope i get a placing in smu but thats pretty hard with my "not so up there" gpa. i'm looking forward to the krabi trip with members of team18holdings and i hope after 4 years of drifting, learning, healing, slacking and waiting, i'll be successful this time round.

i still dont have faith in it yet and this might actually be my final bet. ain't gonna show hand yet cause i'm all confused on the next step and i sense hesitation.

went bballing just now. simply went all out. wanted to beat all the basics i've learnt over the years into my body/brain. dont think i'm gonna touch bball much in these 2 years. so my body/brain have to remember them for 2 years.

well, the team i was with were just some dudes having fun. not even equipped properly. normal clothing, berms and slippers. skills level not on par with the other team also.

another lop-sided match up. me likey. we lost though. 11-7. but still quite song. locked down their best player to only 1 point, he scored the game winner though. damn. so u know where the other points came from eh. hahahaha. i did my best covering for them. 1 man can only do so much. tried assisting them but really didn't work out fine so took matters into my own hands once again. there's where the beating 3 defenders and drawing double team defense shiokness came in. had muscle ache from ytd's work out. so wasn't really as effective as always. 120 pumpings at one shot. what to do? imagine if i'm really at my best. maybe, just maybe, we might actually win.

been a very long time since i went there to play bball. hahaha. training on bball really feels great. the swishing sound is really sweet.

6 months hiatus and the skill level is still there. of course, i do need to do some rust removal and my senses all not that sharp yet. but overall, quite satisfied with what i am now. expected myself to be alot weaker.

strength training accomplised via carrying of goods at harvestlink really paid off eh. lesser strength needed to shoot. get tired less easily also.

went running on sunday and worked for 2 days. training and playing of bball with jm ytd and i still got the strength to wake up at 6 plus today to go running. hoseh boh?

lakers is the nba champion again. back to back yo. hahahaha. my prediction went wrong. thought that celtics would win should there be a game 7, but lakers came through despite being down 13 points at one point of the game. lets make it a 3 peat yo.

here's the record. boston celtics has a nba record 17 championships and while lakers has 15. total up and they would have 32 out of nba's total 63 championships. thats more than half yo!

and until now, lakers have met the celtics in the finals 12 times with boston winning 9, lakers winning 2 and the last one yet to be decided.

these 2 storied franchise had many individuals and ideas clashing with each other. the great wilt chamberlain and shot blocking bill russell. offense vs defense. the dazzling magic johnson and the sharpshooting big man larry bird. black vs white. and in a very minor way, samuel ng against me. well, its all just me being a lakers/kobe fan and samuel being a boston/ray allen fan.

the last time they met in the finals was 2008 with lakers losing by 39 freaking points in the series clinching game 6. i saw it on tv and it sucked to the core watching lakers getting their ass beaten so hard.

this time with home court advantage. it might be a little bit different. pau gasol is more aggressive than he used to be and lakers have andrew bynum, their starting center this time round unlike in 2008 where he was injured. ok, actually, andrew bynum just twisted his knee so we do not know how things will go. lakers also have ron artest, defensive specialist who can slow down paul pierce and lamar odom, lakers versatile big man off the bench albeit a little bit inconsistent. and finally kobe bryant the black mamba. well, i do not need to say much arh. everyone knows what kobe can do.

as for the celtics. they have an aging kevin garnett who's still able to play very well. paul pierce who can make shots when it is needed, pretty much like kobe bryant but not that skilled and not as good looking. a very talented bench with the likes of rasheed wallace, tony allen, nate robinson and so on. but the 2 most dangerous weapons that the celtics have would be ray allen and rajon rondo. probably the best shooter in the league with the nicest shooting form and one of the league's premiere point guard who can record a triple double anytime. with the 2 of them, celtics can play the inside outside game very well. no need to say much, just watch game 2 of this year's finals.

currently, lakers leads the series 2-1 and i predict them winning the finals in 6. should the celtics win, it will be in 7 games.

intern boss is on vacation for one week. so have to wait and see how things go when she returns. till then, more slacking. oh, when i said i got my lazy ass back on track, it also meant that i've started training bball again. =)

i've always pondered on samuel's comment of me not feeling the need for a gf until my brothers are occupied with something. i would say, right now its pretty true eh. everyone's occupied with ns and other stuff. seldom meet up, then finally, i see the need for a gf. but until then, lets just say dont huan loh so much.

nba playoffs started. somewhere between the end of 1st rounds and start of the conference semi finals. well, from how things are going, i would say lakers might not win it all this year. dont get me wrong, i'm still a lakers fan but lets be realistic, kobe is slowing down and thats all that matters now. i would say orlando magic have a shot a being champions this year. we shall see how things go.

had napfa last week. lol. major failure? got silver only leh. lack 1 chin up and 1 sit up for a gold. close miss. but f. didn't train chin up and sit up for 2 years and this is it. honggan. lol. referring to september 2007 post, ky, jm and i went for some army open house. we took napfa there. i had 11 chin ups and 43 sit ups. this year, i only had 6 and 36. throw face lah. gonna train more and retake. seriously not happy with silver. got gold all the way one leh.

but not bad leh. shuttle run 9 seconds flat. got tio stunned boh? hahahaha. aiming to break into 8 seconds plus the next time round.

anyway, bball ytd was pretty fun but too bad it rained when we were enjoying halfway. sianned.

sch was ok but getting kinda hectic due to project deadlines? they are still one to two weeks away lah but ky's a's unofficial end is this friday so better finish everything up and go have fun. cannot wait until 4th dec. i'll die. hahahahaha.

driving isn't so bad also. today brushed up on right turn then did starting off on slope, u turn and 3 point turn. fun sia. driving around but abit nervous.

oh yah. went to cineleisure with ky, jm and joy on monday to catch a christmas carol. it was the preview if i'm not wrong. movie was kinda like playing cs but outing was nice. got abit giddy after the movie cause i cannot take cgi graphics? hahahahaha. its been long since we had this kind of outing. really feels like the year 1 period.

concert on friday to support jasmine. was supposed to rent car but in the end, kena fucked and no car caused the guy before us extended his rental.
