well well well, another week has passed. just like that, poof! gone.

been a pretty busy week. my boss wasn't around for the week so supposedly, we should be more free than usual, seems like thats not the case eh. software testing on monday and tuesday. pretty fun to be testing out a video editing software. i should say its one hell of a software.

for wed and thursday, been rushing out paperwork like a mad dog. non stop man. when you thought u were almost done, in came another set. hahahahahaha.

as for ytd. went down to camford business sch to do training for the video editing software i tested out. quite a nice "out of office" experience, but was kinda pissed. the freaking sch requested for training for their lecturers and they themselves weren't paying attention. felt like throwing my shoes at them.

they confirm can't dodge it. i'm the legendary v4 rocket pro. the last shot that i fired was way back in sec 4 at sim jing han. that guy is so big and i hit he's dick of all places. hahahahahaha. the sound freaking solid somemore.

anyway back to topic. those freaking lecturers. them not paying attention are unforgivable. they asked for the training session and we gave them one. their situation wasn't like mine. i don't pay attention during lectures because i have no choice but to attend, its not like i asked for those lectures. get what i'm trying to say?

met up with roy on wednesday. meet up for dinner and then he came to my house to settle some psp stuff. nice meet up i should say.

best moment was the non stop spamming of the pesticide when the cockroach was already dying. then maybe its to vent her anger, my mum rolled up a newspaper and whacked the living shit out of the small amount of life force that's left of the damn kar zhuar. fucking funny. from thriller to comedy.

the lakers are going to the western conference finals! yata! finally man, after 4 years, kobe and gang are finally back at the top again. well, i woke up pretty early today at 12 given the fact that i slpt at 2am. lol. managed to watch the final quarter of game 6 between lakers and utah. well, i think they had a 13 points lead and i was getting all nervous when their lead was cut down to 3. its a good thing that utah failed to tied the game at the final seconds after derek fisher missed one of his two free throws.

so now, lakers are waiting to either match up with the san antonio spurs or new orleans hornets. spurs and hornets are down to game 7 in their own western conference semi finals series. i think the game is tml. so now, lets see spurs' playoff experience had the upper hand or hornets' youth and athleticism had the upper hand. either way, i think it will be a tough match up for lakers.

shall start from thursday i guess. sch was pretty much the same and after sch, they were all going down to bedok and debbie sis' house to prepare the stuff for ccn day. i didn't go and went home. went to play bball after that. wanted to do some training on my shooting and driving. shooting was ok but i had difficulty with my driving training. i'm right handed when it comes to lay up, so training to use my left hand to lay up was damn difficult for me. my left hand wasn't able to scoop the ball and release it in an ideal angle and my body wasn't very used to the momentum yet.

so i had to start from basic by learning to dribble with my left hand, do some foot work, and train under the rim to tune my left hand into releasing the ball nicely. so after all that hard work, i'm finally able to do simple lay ups with my left hand.

its all worth it, i'm trying to train myself so that i'm more efficient on offense. rather than driving in from right all the time, i can go left sometime and it'll be even better if i can shoot well. so more hardwork hardwork and hardwork. like i've always say, good things comes to those who work. its true that talent plays a part, but it only plays a small part, the rest depends on u. talents gives u a head start, hardwork gets u there.

played 4 games with some strangers again, won 3 and obviously loss 1. lol. lazy to touch on that.

so its friday, ccn day. got to sch one hour earlier to help the class set up the stall. its quite alot of work. need to carry the bench out from engine sch and then still need to go up and down from engine sch to e-business centre to get the stuff like signboards, the stand, etc.

skipped lecture and apel for the event. yes! lol. when the event was about to start, i had to went all the way home to cook a packet of pearls for our bubbletea stall. went home, got my mum for help and practically sat infront of the computer for close to an hour. after that, its down to sch again.

winnie and vanda came to our stall to support us, thanks alot arh. and jm came too, but he came to have lunch with me. after that, we 2 hanged around our stall but didn't help out much cause there's like too many ppl down there helping out already. so just sat down somewhere and talked all the way.

after that, its back to e-business centre to slack after all the items were sold out. slacked there, played dai di and took some photos before going home.

its been a pretty long time since i did some self reflections.

hmmmmm. where should i start? ok, after this coming june holidays, ky and jm will be even way ahead of me. ky will be in 3 more runs and jm for like 2 bah i think. one of them is the 42.195 km marathon. woah right? hell yeah. i wanted to join in, but i'm afraid my knee can't take it.

i myself don't even dare to run long distance alone from changi to east coast like jm, mostly due to the fact that where am i gonna get help if my knee decides to screw up. this knee can even hurts when i'm walking home. stamina wise, i don't think i'm very far behind them but if this keeps up, then sooner or later, they'll be way ahead of me. so i have to find a way to strengthen my knees fast. walking home everyday is showing some signs but still very slowly. like i've always say, i don't want to start straining my knees if it haven't really heals. what worries me now is my toe, its so long since the sentosa trip but its still hurts.

i have to seriously recover and get myself back into shape soon. i wanna break into the 9 minutes 2.4 barrier once again. once i think my body is ready, its mind over body.

as for bball. pretty much the same old me, suck on shooting. i think we seriously need to get some energy out there nowadays cause we are like losing most of the time already, come on guys, we know what we can do, so don't under perform man.

hmmmmm, i'm 18 this year and compared to kobe, i'm very far behind. he's in the nba draft at this age and i sitting in front of the com thinking of being at the draft. lol. its pretty true that singaporeans won't make it big in terms of sports but then again, nothing is impossible ain't it?

i've always believe that we should tab into our abilities and used them to the fullest, but however, its a waste that i didn't think like wise way back in the secondary sch days. wasted the chance to tab into my talent by skipping a whole lot of bball trainings. lol. biggest regrets of my life up till now, too bad that i matured too late.

but i still believe that if i work hard now, its still not too late. i mean come on, how late is late? if u believe, have faith and work towards ur goal, i'm sure u'll succeed, even if u fail, u know that u've tried ur best.

life's nowadays are pretty care free and nice. sch during weekdays weren't boring all the times. its true 1e05 split into different classes, but still, we do meet up in the e business centre like almost everyday, so its pretty ok. as for 2e01? getting pretty much in sync with them already, wasn't much of a problem as there are ruixin, debbie sis, samuel, xue ping, anton, farah and wang zai in that class. familiar faces in an unfamiliar environment.

learning to open up to ppl more, matured too late in this aspect also, but then, not that bad also bah, as in, not too late i guess.

brothers wise, meeting up on weekends every weeks and some weekdays too if we are really free. everyone's busy with their own stuff, this is the way life is. we can't always be so free like the post o's period. lol. like we've said, as long as the brotherhood is there, nth will go wrong. unless someone decided to stir trouble up once again, but i think its highly and close to impossible. what's left in our group are those really loyal ones.

so pretty much getting used to the life i'm leading now, pretty much satisfied. as for relationships? i'm such a failure, so lets not huan loh too much. walk one step, see one step.

woke up at 9 plus today to go to sch just for one fucking ob lecture. pretty much ok for me bah, just that i wasted today, weekends are meant for slp-ing man.

while slacking around at home, espn was broadcasting the nba playoffs, i was all the more reluctant to go to sch. last 6 to 8 minutes of the playoff match up between the east number 1 seed boston celtics and number 8 atlanta hawks. hawks were leading and its in the clutch time! the most exciting period of a game.

but i still went to sch, this shows how much self control i have, lol. according to samuel, 40 plus out of the whole 106 of the cohort turned up. pretty nice attendance for a weekend lecture. seriously. the morning lectures for ebm used to have even suckier attendance, worse was dbis lectures. lol.

this term is pretty tough i should say. no more accounting, which is bad for me. i at first thought that by coming to poly from jc, i could escape studying a maths. well, so much for avoiding it. as according to samuel, business stats requires a maths and so, big fuck! i'm screwed. lol. i'm a infamous maths idiot and i got proof to show. eventhough i'm a self proclaimed genius, but doing maths makes me feels dumb cause i can't answer a simple question properly! lol. thats exaggerating.

and then there's open technology. u peeps know i hate web design to the core and this module is like, web design the sequel. need to design my own blog from the scratch using dreamweaver again. lol. the fun part is the new stuff, but i'm sure the fun will slowly fade away when work load piles up. lol.

to make things a lil better. the exams for the both modules are open book test. lol.

anyway, i can't get a job during the holidays and crap, i found one today and i'm starting work like tml. its at downtown cathay. lol. asked arvind to double confirm with me when he's at work today. so tml i doing training under him. nice one. lol.

as for thursday, went out with jm and peiren to play bball. well, played some matches but to me, its like fooling around, so i'm not keeping records for those matches. played against some st hilda's guys. i didn't keep track of the scores so didn't really know we won or lost. played 3 on 4 and they were like substituting players in and out when we were already short on players.

there's this guy that really pissed me off. he's the outstanding one. he's wearing uniform and fuck, he played like he's risking injuries. i almost injured my left knee while playing him. almost lost my temper when he almost injured my left knee. he was like practically hugging me and when he initially charged at me, there's when it happened, i think my knee bent inwards when he pounced on me. i was like standing there figuring out what to do and jm's down there thinking that i'm fooling around with him. i think practically everyone's thinking that i'm fooling around with him. i'm damn pissed with that guy, if we weren't playing bball, i think i would have whipped his st hilda's ass. however, a couple of elbows while playing in the paint did ease my anger. lol.

and yah, i'm playing with a bloated stomach that day, ate too much. so wasn't really performing and good thing we were really able to grab hold of ourselves and played pretty well for an ugly day of performance. lol. met up with ky for dinner at subway and went to meet up with winnie and gang. home after that.

nba playoffs starts tml. its 20th april for asia time. usa's behind by half a day i think. so yah. nba.com showed that 3 matches will be screened on espn but when i checked espn slots on my cable tv. it only showed nba action from 3pm to 3.30pm. weird eh. its either i saw wrongly or cable tv's really screwed up.

well, its pretty obvious that i'm only interested in the matchup between lakers and denver. top seeded lakers vs last seeded denver. well i don't think lakers will have an easy time eventhough they are the top team in the west. wanna know why? i think this is the first time in nba history that all 8 teams that clinched playoff berth in a conference had 50 or more wins. woah right? lakers had 57 wins and 25 losses. denver had 50 and 32. there's only a 7 games difference. see how tough the western conference is unlike the east where there's only 3 teams with 50 or more wins and atlanta hawks entering the playoffs with only 37 wins and 45 losses.

when lakers meet denver, its kobe vs allen iverson again. they met in the nba postseason once. it was the nba finals when iverson was in the eastern conference with the sixers and winning the mvp award. now? its slightly different. kobe ain't wearing no.8 anymore, he's no. 24. iverson's still no. 3. this ain't the nba finals, its the 1st round of the playoffs. iverson ain't in the east anymore, he's in the west and this year, iverson isn't the mvp and kobe is very likely to win it. my prediction for this match up? lakers is most likely to win the series 4-2.
