mass lan ytd! ok, this is what happened.

met up with ky and jun ming at tampines mac at 12.30pm. as usual, jm overslept and was late. so he kept ky and me waiting again.

after jm reached, we ate lunch. then we went to shop. i'm not the one shopping, ky is the one. ky got his pay today. lol. not bad right? while shopping, we talked alot. found out that dunman had changed alot. assembly was shifted to monday instead of friday. and uniform is only compulsory for monday and friday. as for the other three days, students just have to wear the new formal t shirt implemented by dunman. dunman also had a new cca, community service. its for those students who doesn't have a cca. cool ain't it. anyway, i am not so sure about the details, heard it from ky who in turned heard it from elvis.

elvis also told us that ncc had four teachers in charge already. mr rudy, mr imran, mr wong and one indian teacher. eventhough one new teacher will aid in improving ncc's efficiency, but i doubt our ncc will make their mark anymore. because our juniors are all big time losers and slackers who can't even get a job done nicely. i know that u ppl will say that my batch of ncc members were also slackers but at least, we get our job done. nicely. so i think in the end, all the ncc land members will change cca and join the new community service. haix, those ncc land's glorious moment as a gold unit ten years ago will go down in the history of dunman sec. haix. but still, i am proud to be a member of dunman ncc land unit. the unit that always tries to make its mark no matter what obstacles lies ahead of us. the dunman land unit that was so united and worked together to strive for their goal. the unit that nurtured me into what i am today.

shopped until 4 plus then we went to cityhall to meet up with the rest. in all, there were 8 ppl playing lan. ky, me, dk, jm, jun jie, wai kit, elvis and jun liang. played counterstirke and dota. found out that my skills in both games dropped. not so much in cs but alot as for dota. lol.

ok. before i carry on. there is something i wanna state down here. i think i will be using the term pro noob and noob pro. ppl who don't understand this term may go huh, hoh, he and heh. so now, i will explain this terms to u ppl.

but before i start, i will show u guys a table. a table to determine one's skill in lan gaming. the table goes like this. at the top most there is elite pro. followed by pro. next up will be noob pro. then average. next, pro noob. continued with noob and lastly elite noob.

so as u can see in the table of ranking. there is a difference between noob pro and pro noob. noob pro means that u are a pro in lan gaming. but u still considered as noob as compared to pros. in simple terms, u are a very lowly skilled pro. pro noob on the other hand means that u are a noob, but among the noobs, u are considered the cream of the crop. the leader of those noob lan gamers. so basically, pro noob means that u are a very skilled noob. so understand ppl? after all those explanations, and if u still don't get it. i will teach u how.

step one. walked into your house kitchen. step two. look for a wok or a frying pan. step three. whack yourself real hard with the item u had chosen in step two. reason? if u don't understand what i mean. there is no point for u to have a brain that is functioning nicely. my explanations are fool proof. just like the magazines for the m16 rifle used by singapore armed forces. if u can still put the magazines the wrong way. hit urself with the wok or frying pan too. lol. please note that this method applies to those ppl who are using the com in their friend's house.

as for those who are outside now, like being in places like mac with wireless lan or a lan shop. this is what i propose u ppl to do.

step one. look for a road with alot of cars. step two. walk into the middle of the road and close ur eyes. step three. wait for ur time to die. lol. ok, all those are craps. i have nth better to do mah. life is very boring nowadays.

back to the main topic. played cs. flexibility and accuracy were abit off today. long time no play. its been almost 3 months since i last touch cs. today, the team roosters goes like this. ky, dk, jm and me going up against jun jie, jun liang, wai kit and elvis. was the top frag for the first game before they restart. ky topped the second round and dk for the third. played de dust for round one and two and de dust 2 for round three. although my performance was not that good in the other two rounds. i am still able to score more kills than the top frag of the other team. conclusion. cs dropped from average to pro noob.

as for dota. the team rooster was still the same as cs. i used sand king. our team was being thrashed in dota. ky was a newbie, so he ended up feeding the opposite team. they made a nice move to gang up on ky. half way through the game, ky had something on and left for home. so, it was 3 on 4. leaving dk, jm and me to play against the other 4 who were already winning the game. we left the game as there was no way we could turn the table around short handed.

so jun jie they all play their own games while jm and i tagged to play against dk to test his skills. he's in dnk man. so we have to test out dk aka lovenidaoniku's dota skill to see if he was worthy of being in dnk or not. result. he was indeed worthy. jm and i decided to become the assasins brothers. lol. i chose phantom assasin and he chose stealth assasin. both were late game hero. dk used venomancer. he won us. worse, we did not even kill him once. y? we were fooling around. was so disorganised. did not gang banged him. ended up being isolated by him. one on one. and lost. plus. dk was pro lah ok? lol. on top of that. i did not play dota for 3 months also! lol. excuses lah. conclusion. dota dropped from pro noob to elite noob.

after that, dk, jm and i left to eat our dinner whereas the rest were still playing. dk and i ate burger king. jm didn't eat. while eating. dk talked about his experience in mi with all the chio bus. nice one lah. and dk, if u are reading this. u won, totally man.

also, i heard from dk that there is a chio bu in mi who used to study in pierce sec. she was in track and field and guess what? her 2.4 timing is 9 minutes and 36 seconds. damn. she is faster than me. my fastest timing was 9 minutes and 45 seconds. damn damn damn damn damn. need to train 2.4 again liao. lol.

after that, went to take mrt. here comes the funny part. after dk took the train towards boon lay at cityhall, jm and i turned 180 degrees from the platform where dk took his train and ended up taking the red line instead of the green line. blur sia the two of us. lol. so ended up in somerset where i accompany jm to eat his dinner at heeren. wanton mee. lol.

after that, took bus no. 65 home instead of the train. y? cause we don't feel like going home yet. once we arrived at tampines, we went to cafe cartel to ask if they have any job vacancies or not. turned out that they need ppl who are able to work at least 6 months. lol. slacked around for awhile before going home.

while at home, asked dk to check nba web for details on la lakers and kobe bryant. y did i asked him to do it for me? because my internet speed is damn slow. 100mbps sounds not bad right? but what if it is being share among two coms via a router? omg right. somemore, due to the aftermath of the earthquake. the internet speed is even slower.

anyway, lakers had 21 wins and 11 loses so far. not bad. around 60% of winning percentage. 65.625% to be exact. and as for kobe bryant, he had 29.1 points per game this season. a great drop of 6.3 ppg from his 35.4 last season. hope that his ppg will go up once again.

that aside, the day was fun. lol. monday can go out again. ky has two days off during that week. so need to start planning liao. the compilations of photos taken during prom and ubin maybe completed on moday once i get the thumbdrives from ky. so by then, there will be lots of photos.
