work until now has been both fun and tiring. spent the whole of last week in sim's new extension building installing the chairs and table for 1 of their 28 new lecture halls. cb. 1 lt takes around 1 week. 28 lt leh. go do the math urself.

another thing. big news. lebron james is leaving cavaliers to join dwayne wade along with chris bosh in miami heat. 2 top tier players in lebron and wade and a second tier superstar in bosh. lets just say this is the most talented team in nba history.

lebron changing team is not a big deal to me actually although this means lakers wont be able to make a three peat next second. this move by lebron actually wont put him with the all time greats anymore in my perspective.

why? its because lebron cant win a championship on his own team and need to join wade and bosh to get his first ring. thats why.

what about kobe? at least he won all 5 with his sole nba team. the lakers. i seriously think that lebron should stay in cleveland and lead the team. kobe was in this position before. even michael jordan was in this position before.

well, whats done is done. there's a new nba powerhouse team in town. hahahaha. it would be fun to see lakers against miami heat in the finals. i wonder what strategy phil jackson is gonna come up with. and if lakers manages to win against this powerhouse in the finals, it would only means that kobe is better than not just lebron alone, but lebron and wade together. =)

anyway, had an epic night with sam and his friends. his aunt went on vacation and that idiot dunno until i mentioned the it. so stole the car and drove around for one whole night. went to eat at rochor famous dou hua before going on a search of spooky and haunted places in a car. nv went in. just drove there and look see.

$2 lan. 1 game of dota and 1 game of bvo before samuel sends his friends home. then both of us had breakfast at mac and headed down to pasir ris beach to chit chat. nice long chat there before heading home.

slept and then went it show with my mum and sis before meeting samuel and going to it show with him again.

los angeles lakers and boston celtics. probably one of the most heated rivalry in the history of sports.

here's the record. boston celtics has a nba record 17 championships and while lakers has 15. total up and they would have 32 out of nba's total 63 championships. thats more than half yo!

and until now, lakers have met the celtics in the finals 12 times with boston winning 9, lakers winning 2 and the last one yet to be decided.

these 2 storied franchise had many individuals and ideas clashing with each other. the great wilt chamberlain and shot blocking bill russell. offense vs defense. the dazzling magic johnson and the sharpshooting big man larry bird. black vs white. and in a very minor way, samuel ng against me. well, its all just me being a lakers/kobe fan and samuel being a boston/ray allen fan.

the last time they met in the finals was 2008 with lakers losing by 39 freaking points in the series clinching game 6. i saw it on tv and it sucked to the core watching lakers getting their ass beaten so hard.

this time with home court advantage. it might be a little bit different. pau gasol is more aggressive than he used to be and lakers have andrew bynum, their starting center this time round unlike in 2008 where he was injured. ok, actually, andrew bynum just twisted his knee so we do not know how things will go. lakers also have ron artest, defensive specialist who can slow down paul pierce and lamar odom, lakers versatile big man off the bench albeit a little bit inconsistent. and finally kobe bryant the black mamba. well, i do not need to say much arh. everyone knows what kobe can do.

as for the celtics. they have an aging kevin garnett who's still able to play very well. paul pierce who can make shots when it is needed, pretty much like kobe bryant but not that skilled and not as good looking. a very talented bench with the likes of rasheed wallace, tony allen, nate robinson and so on. but the 2 most dangerous weapons that the celtics have would be ray allen and rajon rondo. probably the best shooter in the league with the nicest shooting form and one of the league's premiere point guard who can record a triple double anytime. with the 2 of them, celtics can play the inside outside game very well. no need to say much, just watch game 2 of this year's finals.

currently, lakers leads the series 2-1 and i predict them winning the finals in 6. should the celtics win, it will be in 7 games.

so go lakers. fucking beat the celtics this time round and cut their championship lead down to 1 yo. championship no. 16!

quite a few activites lately so life has been pretty much more lively.

hmmmm. officially graduated on 21st may if i am not wrong. woke up damn early for the ceremony. listened to some talks and then went on stage to receive my cert.

photo taking session after that before having lunch with anton and sam at t1. slacked around with sam and he came to my house for a brief moment.

i washed up and got ready for chalet in the night while he went to meet his friends.

the main purpose of the chalet was to celebrate joy's bday. went down early with jj to check in. then went to settle the foodstuffs with jj, jun liang and boss.

i would say that the chalet was pretty great. too bad jm was sick if not it would have been epic. credits to joy for taking care of jm while we were happily fooling around.

formed the fire starting team and j chef trio with justin and jj and we pretty much settled the food for the whole night. joy's friend came too. great ppl.

meiyi and huijuan came slightly later while ky came real late. 3 of them left at around 2 plus or 3. had nth to do after they left so boss suggested that we play a batsu game. the challenge will be dai di and the forfeit was to finish one of the food stuff that we had leftover.

in the end. i was the kang tang king and peiren was both the banana cake king and otah king.

the final tally was,

the epicness of the batsu game was beyond description. the teamwork of the j team during the final banana cake series was epic. boss put on a great fight and did all he could but in the end, he vomited twice. respect to our boss man.

checked out at around 10.30 in the morning. sent jm home. slpt and close to 2 in the afternoon and ko-ed until 6 in the evening. slacked and slpt until sunday morning before going down to ubi for joel's dad's funeral.

was saddened by the news. was pondering why joel didn't turned up for the graduation ceremony. hope joel can pull through man. after that, the ppl went to sing k at ehub and i went home mainly because i was too shagged and i dont sing k.
