went to gym today with justin. lol. gym here is not guan yin ma like what someone said although its creative.

working out was fine bah. did my own sets of circuits. found out that my arm muscles are getting stronger and legs muscles are weakening. its because i only trained for my upper body at home. so lets think of ways to train up my legs muscles at home.

after gym, played abit of bball as usual. master told me not to record the win/loss here right at the start as he says that the main purpose of playing today is to help me warm up and remove my ball lag after 1 month plus of isolation from bball due to my term test and toe injury. found it quite reasonable, so agreed. furthermore, my toe aren't 100% recovered yet and it got abit swollen after the matches as i think i pushed myself a little bit too hard.

from my point of view, i already knew we will lose all the match, even when the strongest opponent there didn't post alot of problems for us last time. so just went in to play as i can't resist the temptation anymore. played 6 match, lost all like we expected.

hahahahaha. for all the matches, justin did most of the scoring, like 5 to 6 points per game. as for me, i did all the assisting. scored only 1 to 2 points per game, notched 4 to 5 assists and gave out 1 to 2 blocks per game. after everything, sat down and listened to master's analysis on my performace. his main reason for me not performing on offense is my reduction in speed due to the injury. he said that my speed is our main weapon on offense.

like quite true arh. since my shooting sucks, i only can assist and drive on offense. in order to do that, i need my speed to break away from defense for open passes or easy lay up. so now, i'll heed everyone's advice and let my toes recover first ok? lol. since i can't do much without my speed. lol.

as for defense, did not perform as well cause i can't keep up with the opponent's movement with that injury, but still managed to sneak up on my opponents and block them from behind. lol. justin refers to it as a underhanded move and named it backstab blocking. can't blame him for calling it an underhanded move as he's a victim of this move once. lol.

and and and and we've found my major weakness! walan eh, its a very embarassing and idiotic weakness. one that results in me using more energy when i play. lol. don't laugh ppl. its damn stupid. while gym-ing, we were training on our chin ups, despite almost having the same height, justin can reach for the bar and grab it effortlessly and i need to jump before i can grab it tightly. so, i asked justin to measure his arm length with me and we found out that i have extremely short arms! wah nah beh, my arms are like more than half a palm shorter than his!!!!

so embarassing lah and i feel so inferior. lol. i still remember joking to kelly a few weeks ago that if derek, justin, jm, alvan and me stand together and raise our arms, i will be the shortest. nv thought that its true man. i was just crapping back then.

end of post bah. i feel that this whole post is full of crap arh. lol.
