back from ubin! the trip was uber nice but the aftermath wasn't. my groin's aching now due to the cycling, my legs are damn tired due to cycling uphill and i had sunburn again. anyway, 6 ppl went and they are namely, jj, jm, ky, jun liang, justin and me. well, when we got to the changi jetty, we were all quite stunned. i mean its good friday and we thought everyone should be in town enjoying and slacking while they can, nv did we thought that tonnes of ppl will plan to go to ubin. so the queue was all the way out of the jetty. one comment, power!

anyway, before i start. i finally labelled all 237 of my posts and damn, it took me 2 days. and also, i've added funtwo's canon rock in my blog but i have one big problem. its only playing for 30 seconds. i thought imeem play 30 seconds of all songs that were so called licensed? i ripped this song of youtube also can kena licensed? or does imeem play only 30 seconds of all the songs in its web server? i seriously had no clues leh. help anyone?

each rented a bike, 5 of us paid $15 to rent the bike for the whole day until 6 and jun liang ended up renting an older bike cause the new bike were like "out of stock". so off we were, did nth other than cycling around the island and continuing our explorations. this time its more fun as more parts of ubin were opened up already.

went to this jeewa wetland and did some sightseeing, not bad. they had this very tall tower and u can climb up. halfway up the tower, most of us were scared already, afraid of heights mah. then we came across this moutain bike circuit and fooled around there abit until something cropped up. jm crashed. had a freaking deep cut that sent me going "eeeeyyyyeeeerrrrr". lol.

so had to rush all the way back to the public jetty, find the police post and get his palm treated. that is just to stop his bleeding, had to rush down to cgh to get it stitched. so, plan for second part of the day? go down to cgh and waste our time there. while jm is having his palm stitched in the a&e section, we were eatting dinner and playing dai d and showhand. dai di is fun as usual and showhand was damn lame. we were betting stuff like lamborghini, yatch, millions and millions of dollars, condo, mansion, wife, family, apple, computers, mitsubishi evo, fingers, toes and life. lol.

after dinner, resumed playing dai di outside a&e section and were creating alot of noise due to the crappings and laughings. good thing the place we played in was very isolated. finally went for food elsewhere after spending 3 to 4 hours in cgh. efficient right?

wah, the holidays are freaking boring. there's simply nth to do other than waking up late, watching tv, surfing the net and playing games. well, going out seems like a nice idea, but the money factor makes it quite impossible. so i'm thinking of working, like finally. lol.

i had the idea to work since the holidays started but i was too lazy to start working as i still wanna enjoy the holidays. now that i've enjoyed it full time, time to get down to work. maybe starting work on next monday for hazel.

anyway, my craze for instrumental rock like canon rock by jerryc, funtwo and mattrach got me started on playing my bass again. i searched the tabs for canon rock online and started practising. well, its going quite smoothly, but i'm still not very good some quite alot of parts. hahahahaha. shall continue practising eventhough my fingers had a small blister from all the playing. so shall plaster my fingers tml before i practise. =)

finally, i think i've made up my mind not to sell my bass. i mean i'm always in a dilemma of whether or not i should sell my bass, but given the fact now, i think if i wanna sell my bass, it will also be a long time before i do.

quite a short post arh, so i'll talk some useless stuff down here to make it a lil longer. kobe bryant has been the fore runner of the current race to mvp column in nba.com, not bad though. i mean he's finally been recognised as a mvp in the league after 3 championships, a 81 points performace and 2 scoring titles failed to get him that trophy.

also, the houston rockets winning streak were finally snapped by boston celtics. its a incredible 22 games winning streak, second longest streak in nba i think. however, its only two third of the longest winning streak in nba.

oh yah, before i forget, we planned a ubin trip for this friday. hope it won't get cancelled or get screwed up by the rain.

the weather is really fucked up i swear. its been raining for the past few days and because of it, we had to cancel our ubin trip for today. look what happened? it didn't fucking rain. not even a drip of water dropped from the freaking sky. fuck.

due to the cancellation of the ubin trip, i ended up having nth to do at home other than playing dai di and stwack on viwawa. it looks fun at first, but you'll get sick of it if u keep on playing. since the weather was so good, i gave justin and jm a call, decided to summon them for bball.

after a long time, i finally was able to play bball again. but still, my toes haven't fully healed. played 4 games today. won 3 loss 1.

game 1 was justin and me vs jm and one china guy. won 11-9. this round serves as a warming up round for me. jm did a very good job in keeping the game on track for his team despite the fact that his teammate sucks to the core on offense and has no teamwork.

after this, it was pure shootaround for some time. well, justin trained me on my shooting and we all realised that i was such a gone case for shooting. i mean, i was shooting from directly infront of the rim and i can still miss. power.

after that, played two 3 on 3 games with some guys from east spring sec b division bball team. well not bad i should say, we were able to win both games against sch team players, this meant alot to me man. the score was 11-9 and 11-4.

for the first match, it was all about teamwork and assisting them on my part. we managed to gain a 8-3 lead with that, but they tied the game at 9-9 when they focus on marking each one of us individually. justin and jm both knocked down 2 shots to get the win. for this match, i forgot to keep track of my scores and assists. lol.

the second match was rather easy for us. we build a 7-1 lead easily with me scoring all the first 7 points. i didn't took any long distant shot, all the points were gained by driving the lane and attacking the rim. during that spurt, i managed to score while being guarded one to one, two to one and even three to one. well, i think its because i was in momentum after playing 2 matches. i personally like the way i drove against the 3 to 1 defense. lol. but after that, they decided to focus on guarding me and i was unable to score with ease anymore, so winning the games comes down to justin and jm again.

we lost the last match 7-2. woah right? for the match, we are playing against the same guys as the 2 previous match, just that now its 4 on 4. jm noticed that we always lose when we had an extra members who aren't our brothers. i find it true arh. but on the other part, it's incapability on our part that we loss.

thats all for bball. had pizza for dinner. one whole pizza to myself again. swee sia. bye peeps.

after a long wait, the results are out. well, all i can say is that the output is considered a miracle given my input, so i'm quite happy.

now! updates. went to syfc on the 12th with ky. he went there to take his cert for completing phase 1 of the flying course and i accompany him there as his "younger brother". lol. it was a stupid lie but ppl still bought it. lol. or are we too good in acting?

anyway, we were late for it and had to pia in. quite malu arh, but huan loh. thats what we do all the time. after that, went down to vivo to meet up with jm, jj, peiren, chunglim, kelly, maisie, vanda and winnie. they went to sentosa to play and ky and i were supposed to be there, but we couldn't make it on time. anyway, it rained whole day, so i guess the trip to sentosa wasn't very fruitful. but given the fact that jj and jm was there, i'm sure that they were able to come up with something fun.

had dinner together at vivo. went to long john and ky decided to be spastic once again. i wasn't there personally but they all told me this was what happened.

went home and told my mum about this out of respect. the moment she heard about it, she disapproved of it. say what its a scam, it won't be true and how can u find students so easily. i'm already afraid that it might be a scam so we decided to work together to cut down on the loss as much as possible. haix. this is the reason why i always don't tell my mum stuff. always give negative comments, nv once her comments make me song one.

quite pissed now actually. whatever i do, confirm will splash cold water on me one. i mean, yeah, its risky, i know. but how can u succeed if u don't take risk? if it really failed, then take it as a lesson, somemore its just $60 plus. i personally feel that, we young ppl need to go out and chiong abit to get a taste of the real world. everyday don't take risk, stay in comfort zone, machiam spoilt brat.

after like one week, i'm finally back. hard to believe that ppl like ruixin actually asked me to update my blog when she always complain that it was so long, wordy and boring. hahahahaha. i guess its because the boredom during the holidays is killing her and she need some really long blog post to help her kill time. the past week was a hectic one. damn hectic i should say. but relax, this time, its not because of projects, its because of fun and enjoyment.

warning. as this post is my first official m18 post, its gonna be quite long. filled with words.

updates to kick off. first, there was this 3 days 2 nights 1e05 chalet from 4th march to 6th march. not bad, pretty enjoyable. had bbq on the first night and after that, it was full time slacking, talking, gambling and watching of movies. power! oh yah, photos of the first night will be posted soon. anyway, let wahid and gang taste the power of my crapping skills. lol.

after the chalet, i went home and met up with brothers straight after that. how can i forget? its jun jie bday mah. big event. there's always a 7 to 8 days special ritual during 3rd march to 9th march cause of our birthdays.

played pool with brothers. not bad arh, long time no play, all can still so pro. and seriously, the best thing when brothers get together, its jj and ky combining to talk jiao wei thats very entertaining.

had supper with them on saturday. they went to the it fair at suntec and i went to my grandma house, so we met up at bedok block 85 market to talk cock and eat. not bad lah, jj counted that ky spent a total of $14.50 on supper cause no one wants to split cost with him. lol!

and ytd was my bday. ok lah. just another day for me personally. the special thing is that my mum gave me an hong bao right on my birth time. 01.02 in the morning. met up with wahid, chin wee and ruixin that afternoon. talked cock, played arcade and ate dinner. well, i wanna thank everyone who bought presents for me and wished me on that day, i appreciate it alot.

as for today, met up with wahid, chin wee and ruixin for some job hunt. didn't go quite successful also but was quite enjoyable lah. feel so carefree to be able to just hang around. after that, went to sign up for driving basic theory test with jm, ky and jj. then its all the way to downtown. justin joined in. ok. our purpose is to play pool and world combat, but i was summoned home because my dad need my help for his course work.

today, we tried out a very new stuff. its pretty fun and exciting. we played dai di on the bus from bedok to ubi and from ubi to pasir ris. nice one lah. this can only be done on an empty upper deck of a double decker bus. gambling addicts. lol.

thats enough for the updates. as for now, some of my thoughts. i feel that since i am 18 years old now, my thinking and actions should be more matured and i do feel a little bit change in my thinking now.

i'm starting to think further now that i can drive openly and stuff. starting to huan loh about my own, family's and brothers' future. starting to think about my role as the eldest son/grandson in the family and his responsibility. something like, what can be done, what can't be done and when is the right time to do what. sounds chim? well, i do think alot.

the first problem i took very personally and importantly now is something with regards to my sis. i don't really know how she faired but i did heard from my mum that she didn't do very well for her a's. ok. first up, i can come up with reasons why she did not do well. its a neutral view. first, she's been at home for like one whole year other than working for citibank. i mean, its hard for someone to remember stuff and get into the momentum to study after one whole year of break and isolation from books, so its natural that she didn't do well. but then again, did she put in alot of effort while studying? that's something she'll need to ask herself.

like i said before. my sis is damn talented. she has the brain. a brain way faster than mine. its just a matter of whether you can bring out the potential or not. honestly, i've always look up to my sis because of her academic grades. her grades are something i can nv catch up with. so in a way, its good for her and in a way, its bad for her too. cause i think if she didn't score that well, the impact will be way higher for her.

as for this a's. take it as a failure, as a turning point bah. a chance to learn something from it. things in life can nv be so smooth. only when there are obstacles then u know what is true happiness and sense of fulfilment.

as for her current situation, i think i can sort of understand how she feels lah. i was somewhat in this shoe before when i was thinking of quitting jc and going to poly. lazy to elaborate on it. but one thing is for sure, i'm 100% not an ingrate. i still remember that when i was in need of help during that period of time, my sis did tried her very best to help me cope with it. so i guess now its my own turn to help her back. problem is i don't know how to help. when i know she intends to study at acca, i checked out the website for the numbers upon my mother's request. i only can do these small little things now. but if my sis ever ask anything from me which i can do, i'm willing to do anything for her thats within my power.

one thing is for sure, i can help her build up a good accounting base as accounting is somehow my forte.

another improvement i wanna make is being able to help out my family more. so it means, being less lazy and managing my time better. time to put what i learnt in pom to some use.

actually, i should say being a regular is in my bloodline as my dad's a regular, but that's also the reason why i don't wanna sign on. after that, walked around marina square for awhile before we met up with the rest and went to vanda's house.
