so now. standard chartered singapore marathon. well. i think most of u all know i took part in the 10km team cat.

met up with wai kit and ky at tampines mrt station on 5.30am. ky came in shoes with soles loose. didn't expect that to happen. below are extracts of sms-es between ky and me at 1 plus am today.

ky: emergency! shoe sole dropped due to rough war. who got all kinds of super glue, pls bring. thanks.
me: lol! song boh!?!i don't have. somemore i down with flu now. in deeper shit than you.
ky: wah xiao. tomorrow no sole no friction. shoe spoil need buy. there goes my pay. work like no work. haha, you can don't go one. just tell us.
me: no lah. i'm planning to run and even got ready liao. but fuck, down with flu. took one flu pill liao, lets hope it works.
ky: flu run bad. take pill run worse. lol.
me: lol. so you are encouraging me not to run lah?
ky: not encourage. is best advice for your safety and health.
me: oh i see. so your sole how? no sole better don't run also. for your safety and health. lol.
ky: ncc taught me to be resourceful. can be solved. but need buy new one. not happy.
me: nice answer. i like. basketball taught me determination. i've played after taking a flu pill. so i believe i can run after taking a pill. just that i'll be slower.

u know. when ky said that he's resourceful, i thought that he will find another pair of running shoes. like his brothers' shoes. know what? he ended up coming with his own shoes full of scorch tape.

hahahaha. as expected. waikit and i laughed at him for the whole train ride to cityhall. met up with the rest at cityhall and then dilly dally.

ran and met up with them again. ky was the fastest. good for him. after today. i realised i really hate and have no passion for running. why do i hate running? because of the stitches. why do i hate stitches? because of the pain. why do i hate the pain? because it sucks. simple as that.

ky and i both believe that we can run faster as we felt that we nv put in our very best. i was hindered by the side effect of taking the flu pill for awhile and then had stitches. stamina wise, i think i can run faster but the stitches forced me to stop for afew times.

my guntime was 1hour 21 minutes but i think my net time will be much lower. i started the race real late cause i accompanied ky to the toilet.

breakfast at subway and then waited for jm. woah. he's the real pro. full marathon in 5 hours 30 plus minutes. power lah.

dinner at cartel with family to celebrate my bro's bday. was my treat. damage. $100. lol. then walked around cs and tm for awhile. bought a new bag. the old one has rusty buckles after exposure to rain, i think.
